General Motors STEM for Changemaking Winner

The Human Projects was selected as a winner of the STEM for Changemaking Challenge for the use of the engineering design process to empower young leaders to create grassroots projects to solve human rights issues in their communities.

Jane Goodall Institute Fund II Roots and Shoots Fellow

I was selected to serve a 10 month term as a Fund II Roots & Shoots National Fellow. Fellows are provided with a $3,000 stipend, the opportunity to distribute micro grants to community project participants, and fully funded professional development training in Washington D.C. and New York City.

T-Mobile Changemaker Challenge Winner

Standing Tall, a Human Projects Program, was selected as a winner of the T-Mobile Changemaker Challenge, a nationwide search focused on finding and supporting trailblazing teens and young adults with big ideas that will create positive, long-lasting change in their communities. The 30 winning teams traveled to T-Mobile HQ in Seattle in (all expenses paid) to kickstart their projects at a two-day intensive Changemaker Lab. Winners received in-depth mentorship, training, and support for turning their revolutionary ideas into reality.

Miracle Corners of the World Young Leaders Fellowship

Miracle Corners of the World Young Leaders Fellowship (Formerly called Young Leaders Access Program) selects 27 young leaders from around the world united by the goal of creating positive change in their communities. Through the one year program, I joined a cohort of young leaders from 18 countries for the leadership retreat and received mentorship and support expanding the Human Projects.

National Liberty Museum Young Hero with Presidential Honor

The annual National Liberty Museum Young Heroes Award recognizes young people who have championed liberty through their actions to enact positive change in their schools and communities. I was selected for the top prize, the President’s Honor Award, which comes with a $2,000 award to further my work with The Human Projects. All Young Hero award winner stories will be featured in the museum for the year.

She++ Include Fellowship

The She++ Include Fellowship selects thirty students from around the country for developing programs that make STEM more inclusive. Fellows are invited to the She++ Summit, an all-expenses-paid 3-day trip to the Bay Area. We met with prominent technologists, visited tech companies, and received mentorship from the She++ team members and Stanford faculty.

She++ is a nonprofit that started as Stanford’s first conference on women in technology.

Florida’s Top High School Volunteer

I was selected as the top high school volunteer in Florida by the Prudential Spirit of Community Awards. The Prudential Spirit of Community Awards program is the United States’ largest youth recognition program based exclusively on volunteer community service.

Vital Voices HerLead Fellow

Thirty HER Lead Fellows are chosen from the US and Canada for demonstrating a strong commitment to leadership and the potential for creating innovative solutions to community problems. Fellows are flown to New York to participate in a three day leadership forum. During the forum, Fellows connect with a powerful network of Ann Taylor executives and global women leaders from business, politics, entertainment and the media to cultivate our leadership abilities.
